CHICAGO - GlobalShop, the largest annual trade show for retail design and shopper marketing, is coming back to Chicago tomorrow (April 16-18), featuring woodworking exhibitors and others who manufacture store fixtures.
GlobalShop also is the fastest growing trade show by attendance as ranked by TSNN. The show has grown in attendance by 11 percent for two consecutive years and has hosted an expanding exhibition floor as well, says show director Tim Fearney. He said he expects GlobalShop’s growth momentum to continue in 2013.
Peer-to-peer networking programs include the Retail Roundtable, sponsored by Reeve Store Equipment, in which participants sit down for discussion with design executives from top retailers. This year GlopbalShop adds the Brand Breakfast, a town hall format panel of brand and consumer products goods marketers.
GlobalShop’s conference program include sessions on Consumer Trends, International Trends and In-Store Trends. The 2013 conference program will also feature Spanish- and Portuguese-language sessions.
