ATLANTA -- The Home Depot Inc., a home improvement retailer, announced on Jan. 30, plans to hire about 15,000 new associates during the spring season, including 2,000 in Chicago, according to The Associated Press. The Atlanta-based chain is also focusing on hiring skilled workers for its electrical, plumbing, millwork and professional contracting departments in markets around the company. Read more.
