MasterBrand Cabinets announces massive new Georgia plant, 400 jobs

JACKSON, Ga. – MasterBrand Cabinets, North America's largest cabinetmaker, will open a new manufacturing and distribution facility in Jackson, Georgia. The 840,000-square-foot facility will create nearly 400 jobs.

“We have seen a lot of opportunity and accelerated demand in value-priced cabinetry. Over the years, we have positioned our business to capture that growth. Adding a facility in Georgia helps us expand our reach and meet customer needs,” said Dave Banyard, president of MasterBrand Cabinets. “I am proud of our MasterBrand culture, and we look forward to adding new associates to join our strong team and be part of our success.”

MasterBrand says it's preparing the existing facility for operation, and expects to be fully operational in the upcoming months.

Recruiting for the plant has begun. The company needs to fill manufacturing and distributing positions, as well as management and supervision.

Headquartered in Jasper, Indiana, MasterBrand is the largest cabinet manufacturer in North America. Its divisions include Aristokraft, Decora, Diamond, Dynasty, HomeCrest, Kemper, KitchenCraft, Norcraft, Omega, Schrock, and WoodCrafters The company makes stock, semi-custom and custom fully assembled kitchen and bath cabinets; and frameless RTA.

Fortune Brands Home and Security, MasterBrand's parent company, recorded $2.397 billion in sales for its kitchen and bath cabinetry segment in the third quarter of 2019.
