JASPER, IN — The Chicago Tribune reports that MasterBrand Cabinets Inc. has begun rehiring for 260 positions that were eliminated earlier in the year due to slumping sales. The new hires came despite U.S. Dept. of Commerce reports that said home construction fell 13.5% since the layoffs were announced in Dec. The company says it has been successful in being aggressive in pursuit of new clients.
