SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – On June 1, 2022, the Gonyea Family sold the 108,000 acres of forestland in Northern California that was managed by The Michigan-California Timber Company to New Forests, a global investment manager.

Timber Products and New Forests have entered into a long-term timber supply agreement to ensure a stable future log supply for Timber Products Yreka Veneer operation. “MCTC has sustainably managed these timberlands since 1994 and we are proud of our stewardship,” said Chris Chase, general manager for MCTC. “Our manufacturing affiliate, Timber Products Company, looks forward to working with New Forests as a key supplier of logs through a long-term timber supply agreement.”

The Gonyea family said it is committed to the long-term success of Timber Products.  The company has plans for further capital improvements and growth.
