Reborn Cabinets acquired by growing home remodeling platform
Reborn Cabinets

Reborn Cabinets is the newest member of the Renovo family of companies.

Reborn Cabinets has been acquired by Renovo Home Partners, a direct-to-consumer home remodeling platform offering quick-turn home renovations through its nationwide network of partner companies.  Details of the sale were not disclosed.

Reborn Cabinets, the Anaheim, Calif.-based company that ranks #96 on the FDMC 300 ranking of top woodworking companies, is just the latest company to be purchased by Renovo. This is the third acquisition for Renovo since its forming in late 2021 with the combination of Alure Home Improvements, Dreamstyle Remodeling, and Remodel USA. Renovo also owns well-known regional brands NEWPRO Home Solutions and Woodbridge Home Solutions.

Vince Nardo, CEO of Reborn, said that by joining the Renovo family of companies, Reborn will be able to tap into Renovo's peer-sharing network and technology and infrastructure support, allowing the continuation of its growth trajectory, while Renovo benefits from the addition of a west-coast operation with an established and trusted brand in the markets in which it operates.  The company has won numerous awards, and was featured in WoodworkingNetwork.com earlier this year.

"We are thrilled to partner with Renovo to continue our nearly 40-year history of providing homeowners with turn-key home remodeling projects with a second-to-none customer experience," said Nardo. "Renovo is a company that understands our history and our core values and is likewise committed to continuing to evolve and strengthen Reborn's offering to our employees and customers."

Reborn Cabinets was founded in 1983 by Vinny and Brenda Nardo and has grown to more than 700 employees in three states, and three generations of the Nardo family have held leadership positions within the company.

"Reborn has grown immensely in the past several years, and that growth has meant looking for a partner who supports our vision to provide the support and resources needed for the next steps," said Chief Financial Officer Anthony Nardo. "We're so pleased to have found the right platform upon which to continue our parents' legacy."

John Dupuy, Renovo's CEO said that Reborn strengthens its presence in the Western U.S. and also brings extensive capabilities and opportunities in cabinet refacing. "Cabinet refacing is a product with significant growth potential that can be leveraged throughout the expanding Renovo platform," he said.

The Renovo platform provides access to peer experience and insight as well as the necessary infrastructure, processes, and tech-enabled resources to help partner companies thrive. With a culture rooted in teamwork and a desire to win together, Renovo supports its partner companies in developing value creation plans to accelerate growth while preserving the value of their existing management teams and brands.

"When choosing a partner to take Reborn to the next level, Renovo was the clear fit," says Vince Nardo. "We look forward to partnering with all of the Renovo partner companies to create the nation's leading remodeler, setting a new standard in customer service in the home improvement industry."
