ALPHARETTA, GA -- Southern Staircase, a manufacturer of pre-assembled staircase systems, recently announced the purchase of Stair Parts Inc. (SPI), a manufacturer of wooden staircase components, according to Send2Press.

Southern Staircase, founded in 1983, has four manufacturing facilities and five sales offices throughout Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. SPI, founded in 1978,  sells its products through nationwide distribution channels, primarily to stair builders, millwork companies, home centers and lumber yards, with a customer base that is strongest in the Northeast and Midwest markets.
