Wood Pro Expo Lancaster exhibitor sales heat up
Wood Pro Expo Lancaster

Fully 94.0% of attendees play a role in the purchase process; 70.7% are the final decision maker.

MANHEIM, Pa. — There’s good news for woodworking professionals in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Wood Pro Expo Lancaster (WPEL), a one-stop shop for everything woodworking, is seeing booth sales take off. More exhibitors, translates to more products, demos, and networking opportunities for attendees at the Oct. 24-25 event.

“Our expo floor is developing nicely,” said Lewis Goldman, managing partner of the two-day taking place at Spooky Nook Sports. “We continue to experience an excellent exhibitor return rate year after year, plus we will have many first-time exhibitors. We believe that the industry, both sellers and buyers, understand this is an important event for professionals, not a consumer show.

“Attendees know that they can expect to find a well-rounded group of machinery and supply manufacturers and distributors who will showcase the latest innovations and resources on the show floor. Exhibitors know that our easy-in, easy-out venue, conveniently located in the breadbasket of the wood industry, will attract a diversified audience of professional owners and managers representing small, medium and large woodworking businesses. Our regional focus ensures targeted exposure that generates leads and sales.”

The WPEL attendee base is made up of serious professionals. According to a previous post-show survey, 94.0% of attendees play a role in the purchase process; 70.7% are the final decision maker.

The survey also revealed that residential and commercial cabinets, 46.0%, followed by custom woodwork, 20.5%, and architectural woodwork, 9.3%, are the top products manufactured by WPEL attendees.

The WPEL floor plan includes special exhibit packages offering free compressed air and electricity discounts, for a pair of machinery pavilions. They include:

  • The Running Machine Pavilion, limited to six exhibitors of CNC machines, edgebanders and other large woodworking equipment, provides each participating company with two exclusive demonstration times each day. These scheduled demonstrations are promoted in Woodworking Network newsletters and in the show program.
  • The Classic Machine Pavilion, dedicated to showcasing standard production floor equipment, provides a 20 x 20 booth for a maximum three exhibitors.
