Wood production plant condemned after fire

A pallet plant in Hudson Falls, N.Y., caught fire on January 16. While the fire was extinguished, the building was later condemned.

No injuries were reported at a fire at Dimensional Mills, a Hudson Falls, New York, wood production plant, but the building was later condemned, according to local news reports.

Over a dozen crews responded to the fire at Dimensional Mills on Main street, according to TALK 1300/98.7 NEWS. A cause of the fire remains under investigation, according to the report. 

News Channel 13, reported that the fire broke out around 3:15 Monday afternoon at the plant, which is located at 337 Main Street, Hudson Falls.

Hudson Falls Fire Chief Tom Bover told Channel 13 that the fire started in a chimney. Production is shut down and the building is condemned, the station reported.
