Woodworking meets technology at Wood Tech Summit

The first Wood Tech Summit will be held March 13-15 in Ogden, Utah.

You don’t have to climb a mountain to speak to some old wise man to see the future of the woodworking industry is inextricably linked to technology, but you might want to travel to the Rocky Mountains of Utah anyway.

That’s where an innovative new networking opportunity will bring a new generation approach to advancing the woodworking industry.

Organized by Allmoxy in cooperation with Woodworking Network, the Wood Tech Summit will be held March 13-15 in Ogden, Utah. The Wood Tech Summit is designed to unite industry professionals to explore cutting-edge innovations. This all-inclusive event features hands-on training, panels, and speakers for thought-provoking conversations and applicable skills.

Attendees will gain valuable insights for implementation in their woodworking businesses while also networking with peers to build relationships and stay informed about industry trends.

And there are even opportunities for skiing on Utah’s unparalleled snow for those so inclined.

This summit is not designed to be your typical conference with someone pontificating from a podium all day.

The agenda is filled with hands-on workshops and interactive panel discussions to keep the participants fully engaged and transmit as much actionable information as possible.

Participants will learn how to better incorporate the latest technology into their businesses, not just in manufacturing, but also in the front office and marketing.

There will also be hands-on workshops to help participants deal with the challenges of technology, including data security.
To maximize networking opportunities and involvement of all the participants, initial registration is limited to just 100 people. Organizers hope the smaller, fully engaged participation will help to forge lasting connections between participants.

Topics include:
• AI, optimizations, automation;
• Website optimization;
• Live SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) of the woodworking industry;
• Mastering craftsmanship through technology;
• Hands-on audit to help you automate your workday;
• Robots that empower, not replace employees;
• Fears and excitement of passing your business to the next generation.
