The M264VFL Industrial Dry Vacuum from Midaco Corp. comes equipped with multiple attachments and hoses extending several meters. The Teflon-coated pocket filter ensures peak performance with damp materials, complemented by PTFE nanotechnology for tackling the most stubborn dust particles, the company says. It features a manual filter cleaning system that is operated by a side-mounted “shaker” lever to expel debris from the filter and into the receptacle container. The detachable wheeled container has 100L capacity.

A cloud-based ERP software from Cetec ERP now features Order Batching that allows users to group work orders together as a batch by keying in or scanning an order number. The feature is included in all existing and new Cetec ERP systems. On the new Batch view screen, time can be logged to the batch, and then split equally across all associated work orders within the batch. Additionally, the work order location allows users to update the production status of the batch, which will automatically update the individual work orders.

The UR30 industrial robot from Universal Robots has a 30 kg payload cobot and a small footprint, enabling it to fit into almost all workspaces. It weighs 63.5 kg, and can be easily moved between work cells. The UR30 is ideal for applications including machine tending, material handling, and high-torque screw driving. The high payload brings new possibilities as it allows the cobot to use multiple grippers at the same time, the company says.

The SuperMax 25-50 Drum Sander from Laguna Tools is the largest open-ended drum sander on the market, the company says. The user can sand 25″ in a single pass, and up to 50″ in a double pass.  The 25-50 Drum Sander comes standard on a Closed Mobile Base Stand. The drum is pre-wrapped with 80 grit sandpaper. Additional accessories and sandpaper are available for purchase.

The SideShift from Castle USA is a double pocket auto positioner for the company’s CSI 1.5D Pocket Cutter/Screw Inserter machine. The SideShift automatically positions 1-1/4” to 3” wide stock in the correct position and creates two low-angle, 6° pockets with screws in under 4 seconds. The SideShift is ideal for face frame production, the company says, and because the SideShift automatically places material in the correct position, operator error is reduced or eliminated.

The LX50START and LX50SUPER portable sawmills from Wood-Mizer can saw 26” diameter hardwood and softwood logs into boards and slabs with a 23-1/2” width of cut and 8” depth of cut. Sawing capacity is maximized with the rectangular throat design that provides full-width sawing at any cutting depth. Longer logs can be sawn with optional modular bed extensions.

The LT15WIDE portable sawmill from Wood-Mizer is now available with a lithium-ion battery that reportedly operates at peak levels for eight hours.
