The FitFinder Center Platform Lock Miter Bit from MicroJig has a measuring point milled directly into the body of the bit, which, combined with the FitFinder 1/2 gauge, allows woodworkers to effortlessly find the halfway point of their stock up to 3" in thickness. As a visual indicator to ensure the bit is correctly inserted, the bit has a router collet safety line etched into it. The bit features a small slot within each groove, acting as a "glue well" to let excess glue flow into the slot instead of blocking the joint.
