Keystone Wood Specialties has added a new line of X-style mullion doors to its existing mullion cabinet door collection. The company currently offers a single-X and double-X horizontal design and can create customized X-style doors based on your drawings. With quality and durability of its mullion doors top priority, Keystone uses half-lapped construction on 90-degree joints and face grain plugs on most joints to prevent the mullion from coming apart at the frame. The doors are grooved to accept vinyl retainer moulding, which is included with each door at no extra cost, the company says. The retainer moulding easily pushes into the groove by hand. All the user needs to do is cut it with a utility knife to fit at the corners. Keystone's mullion doors can be made with any wood species and range from frame-only to multi-lite doors. The company has a full-service finishing department or mullion doors can be ordered unfinished.
