Laminate panels made from recycled plastic
3B SpA's Respet panels are made by either lamination or thermoforming from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Metallic impurities, caps, and labels are removed before crushing the plastic bottles into flakes, which are then extruded to create sheets. The company says Respet does not use fossil fuels and it reduces CO2 emissions by 60 percent, saves energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and reduces the need for landfills and incinerators. Respet panels are available in all color variations, in gloss and matte finishes, and are customizable with wood prints and abstract patterns. They offer high performance on smooth surfaces as well as shaped surfaces and undercut profiles.
