Kaeser Compressors has upgraded its ASD product series. The updated models include the standard 25, 30, and 40hp units, as well as the T-series with optional integral refrigerated dryers. The ASD models are now equipped with IE4 Super Premium efficient drive motors, which are expected to decrease power consumption and motor temperature. The company says its 25, 30, and 40hp direct drive compressors have improved energy efficiency and longevity, and specific power is improved from 0.75 to 1.5 percent, further reducing input kW.
