Webinar: Navigating AI's role in woodworking business

#JTC27 webinar on AI

In a constantly evolving landscape where technology and craftsmanship have begun to blend seamlessly with each other, the woodworking industry is on the edge of a big change with the growing prevalence of artificial intelligence (AI).

A special online event for creative thinkers and important decision-makers in the woodworking field will explore AI. This event, hosted by both the Woodworking Machinery Industry Association (WMIA) and Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA) by way of the Joint Technology Committee comprised of members from both associations, is set to spotlight some present and future AI-based tools and strategies with an upcoming online webinar entitled "Harnessing the Power of Artificial Intelligence."

This free webinar will take place on Thursday, August 24 at 2 p.m. (ET), and registration is open to anyone interested in learning more about AI and how it can be helpful in their business. As new and old ways mix together, this event promises to provide an overview of concepts like Machine Learning, Large Language Models, and Natural Language Processing, and offer some demos of existing tools. Representatives from the WMIA/WMMA Joint Technology Committee endeavor to make these high-tech tools easier to understand and to show how they can be used effectively in woodworking businesses.
