WMS Live presentation explores adapting to the post-pandemic sales climate

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -- The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on the way cabinet, furniture, and other wood product companies sell their wares.

For example, the shift to remote work has forced sales teams to adapt their strategies and tactics. Key changes include the rise of video conferencing and increased reliance on digital marketing while still striving to develop personal relationships.

Andrew Wall, a seasoned business growth advisor who is a member of Sandler Training, will discuss how businesses can adapt to the challenges of the changing sales landscape and grow their bottom lines at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo.

Wall will share Sandler’s current research on how the buyer’s journey has changed and what sales professionals can do to create mutually beneficial relationships. His free presentation, “Selling in a Post-Covid Economy: What Buyers Want and How Buyers Work,” is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 at the WMS Live stage.

Wall’s session is on of a half dozen organized by the Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Canada.
