WMS 2023 preview videos: Castaly’s latest CNC machines

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -- Castaly, a leading name in woodworking machinery, will showcase its latest cutting-edge equipment designed to boost productivity and make daily operations more efficient, at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, Nov. 2-4, at the International Centre.

Following is a summary of the machines Castaly will display at WMS 2023.

The Pro CNC machine from Castaly offers automatic infeed loading and outfeed unloading, a 16-station dynamic tool changer, and a drill bank to maximize rapidity. The machine has a rigid steel frame, a 13-hp HSK F63 spindle, and a vacuum system with two pumps. The first pump is for general suction and the second pump is 100% dedicated to the spindle to ensure the best possible suction when the spindle is working. The machine also comes with an optional automated labeling device.

Castaly ARES CNC machine

The Ares CNC machine is designed mostly for door pre-hang processing and five-sided projects. The Ares features automatic feed-through options, including auto loading and out-feeding. Its multi-spindle configuration makes it ideal for various woodworking tasks. Other features include an automatic tool changer and brushless servo motors. (Watch video below.)

Castaly Rapid R8 CNC router

The 8R CNC machine comes with an automatic 8-tool changer, servo-motor system, and a CNC controller. An optional CAD/CAM system simplifies part program creation. The machine's design is optimized for 3D cutting, with a durable frame, 13-hp spindle, and a 6-zone vacuum table for a secure hold.

Castaly Rapid 12LN CNC machine

The 12LN CNC machine achieves increased productivity with its automatic 12-tool changer and pneumatic roller press system that keeps small parts securely on the vacuum table. Powered by high-torque servo motors and a CNC controller that accepts G-code and supports CAD/CAM options, the machine provides greater precision and efficiency. Its robust construction, HSD spindle, and automatic frequency brake ensure reliability. The 6-zone vacuum table ensures a powerful hold-down for machining projects.

As a complement to its CNC nesting machines, Castaly wll display edgebanders that offer seamless edging solutions at WMS 2023. They are designed to provide clean, professional finishes on a wide range of materials, saving time and enhancing overall quality.

In addition, Castaly will showcase two robotic arms working in tandem with its machines.
