MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – Wood-Maxx, a manufacturer of wood screws, will display its newest and most popular products at the 2023 Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, Nov. 2-4 at the International Centre.
Wood-Max says it has specifically engineered its screws for use with furniture and cabinets made with solid wood or thermally fused laminate. The screws feature a long-type 17 (T17) cutter for quick drilling into even the hardest of woods.
The specially designed cutting thread combined with the long T17 cutter eliminates the need for pre-drilling into most species of wood and sheet goods, reducing assembly time, the company says.
All Wood-Maxx screws are coated with a zinc wax which reduces friction and stress. Wood-Maxx adds that its screws feature a deep square socket for optimum driver bit penetration and performance.
