DENVER, Col. — Premier Eurocase reports it has purchased its third laser edgebander - a Homag ProfiLine model - which uses technology that makes a near seamless joint between the edgeband and top and bottom surfaces of panels.

Premier says the acquisition of the KAL 370 ProfiLine from Stiles Machinery secures its position as the largest zero-joint manufacturing firm in North America.

The installation of its third laser edgebander also addresses Premier EuroCase's capacity needs, following continued growth of finished door and drawer components that call for the more durable, seamless bond provided by laser edgebanding.

Premier EuroCase massive production system employs Intellistore automated materials handling.

The ProfiLine system has multi-radius functionality that simultaneously runs several types of banding and produces high edge quality at an efficient cost-to-performance ratio.

Premier offers laser edgebanded components in its Reflekt high-gloss and UltraMatte acrylic collections, as well as Roücke HD structured melamine.

Andy Wilzoch, president of Premier EuroCase

“There is an immense amount of consideration when it comes to selecting the materials and equipment we are going to invest in,” said Andy Wilzoch, president of Premier EuroCase. Lack of glue lines and joints that don’t collect dust make laser edgebanding technology superior, says Wilzoch.
