Good day everyone, I Have an abundance of 4x4 cedar posts , varying lengths and some even bigger than 4x4 .I have saved over the years. I want to cut them into 3/8 inch planks for flooring. I have a dewalt table saw, but it is hard to push through these thick pieces (without it making me nervous). really seems to wanna kickback quite often. A buddy told me I could use a bandsaw for this. Would a bandsaw cut these posts this thick and what size bandsaw and what type blade would be the best. BTW I am in no hurry on this project, so if it takes longer thats okay with me. And If I need to do some sanding on these after is okay as well.

Thank you in advance,

Wayne
