Plane crash investigation progressing

More details are emerging in the plane crash that took the life of industry executive James Scarlett, CEO of Scarlett Inc.The aircraft, a single-engine, Piper PA-32 Saratoga plane, crashed on April 12 in the woods near the Claxton, Tennessee, community in Anderson County. The Anderson County Sherriff's Office reported that the plane broke apart in flight and luggage and parts of the plane were scattered throughout the wooded area.

It's Closets Week in Schaumburg

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -- A total of 112 exhibitors are showing their wares at the Schaumburg Convention Center during the Closets Conference & Expo 2024, co-located with Wood Pro Expo Illinois, scheduled for April 17-19. The number of vendors on the expo floor, which is officially sold out, represents a more than 25% increase from the 2023 event.

OSB plant to get $30 million upgrade

Martco, LLC, parent company for timber sourcing and manufacturing company RoyOMartin, announced it will invest more than $30 million to install technologically advanced production equipment at its Allen Parish plant that produces oriented strand board (OSB) for the housing industry.
