Cabinetworks Group receives ANSI performance and construction certification

Cabinetworks has received ANSI certification for performance and construction of its full line of cabinetry.

BREA, Calif., ANN ARBOR, Mich. — ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) has issued product certification to Cabinetworks Group’s full line of cabinetry for compliance with ANSI A161.1 Performance and Construction Standard for Kitchen and Vanity Cabinets. 

Cabinetworks Group, is one of the largest cabinet manufacturers in the U.S., carrying well-known brands such as KraftMaid, Medallion, and Merillat. The kitchen and vanity cabinets recognized in this ICC-ES product certification are manufactured under a quality control program with annual surveillance inspections by ICC-ES.

With more than 90 years of experience providing certification and 20 years of testing and certification in cabinetry, ICC-ES is a conformity assessment leader in the industry. The ICC-ES is accredited by ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) as a certification body to the requirements of ISO/IEC17065. According to the ICC-ES, it is dedicated to conducting product certification of cabinets in the "most rigorous and thorough manner," which includes annual product testing and factory audits to ensure compliance.
