SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – Inspired Closets Oakbrook will be one of two locations to host a tour, sponsored by Hafele America, during the Closets Conference & Expo, April 17-19, at the Schaumburg Convention Center. After a full day of sessions during the Closets Conference on April 17, attendees will head out to industry veteran Mike Carson’s showroom in Oakbrook, Illinois.

Inspired Closets, a brand of The Stow Company, was officially launched in 2017, with Carson opening the inaugural showroom. He opened Inspired Closets Chicago in The Mart, a Chicago landmark, in 2023, marking his second showroom in Chicagoland and Carson’s return to the historic design center.

The Inspired Closets Oakbrook showroom was opened in 2017.

The Oakbrook showroom is approximately 3,000 square feet, and the self-guided tour will feature 14 displays from the garage, pantry, office boutique, pantry wall bed, and more, offering a wide variety of custom organization features, colors, and hardware.

Carson says he is excited to welcome the closet industry to Chicago and his showroom.

“We have a great year ahead of us,” he adds. “I look forward to sharing my showroom with my peers in the industry. Let’s continue to raise the tide.”

Inspired Closets was launched to simplify the buyer experience and lessen the customer’s anxiety around remodeling, the company says. “That’s why we’ve created an innovative, collaborative approach to custom closet systems and organization centered around your unique needs and style,” the company says on its website. Its approach, a four-step process, consists of consultation, design, preparation, and installation.
