WPE Lancaster preview video: Quality Packaging’s QuikPACK workstation

MANHEIM, Pa. – Quality Packaging Corp. will demonstrate its QuikPACK workstation, a flexible, cost- and space-saving system for packaging cabinets, at Wood Pro Expo Lancaster, Oct. 13-14.

The on-demand packaging system dispenses material from the right size roll and cuts it to the desired length automatically.

QuikPACK utilizes single-face corrugated with a non-abrasive poly liner to protect cabinets without the additional step of using roll foam. The system can be programmed to dispense the exact amount of material needed to cover the entire perimeter of your cabinet.

According to Quality Packaging, one QuikPACK station operated by a two-man crew can pack up to 100 cabinets per hour. The system can be preprogrammed with standard sizes to speed up the process by eliminating guesswork. The use of an optional bar code scanner further increases the speed and accuracy of the cabinet packaging operation.

Quality Packaging offers corrugated in four widths: 18”, 30”, 34-1/4”, and 42”, each is available in 250-foot rolls. Top and bottom trays, corner protectors, and other protective items are also stocked for immediate delivery.
