Indiana Furniture opening new Chicago Design Studio for NeoCon 2024

The Merchandise Mart, or the MART, will once again host the NeoCon fair this June. Indiana Furniture has made a major commitment to the show and the venue.

JASPER, Ind. — NeoCon, the world's largest contract furniture and commercial design show, has had some recent losses with companies such as Steelcase announcing a move from the MART to the nearby Fulton Market district in Chicago, but today the facility can announce a big win.

Office furniture manufacturer Indiana Furniture has signed a lease with THE MART in Chicago to create a new Design Studio, opening in June 2024 in tandem with NeoCon, which will take place from June 10–12, 2024.

Indiana Furniture has a long-standing relationship with THE MART. They’ve exhibited in every NeoCon since its inception in 1969 and have occupied permanent showrooms on the 3rd and 10th floors, continuously increasing their positioning and square footage to accommodate their growing portfolio.

The company will remain on the MART’s tenth floor, moving down the hall to a space positioned on the exterior of the building at Suite 1042. This new space offers additional square footage, views of the Chicago skyline and river, and an infrastructure that’s more suitable for configuring furniture for today’s and tomorrow’s needs.

“We’re excited to continue our successful partnership with THE MART with this new space, which heightens our presence and allows us to be more directly a part of the energy happening within the building,” said Mike Blessinger, vice president of sales and marketing for Indiana Furniture. “We’re looking forward to creating an elevated showroom experience so clients can feel the relevancy of Indiana Furniture’s offering as they envision their design projects.”

Indiana Furniture’s Chicago Design Studio will feature a broad mix of their established products in casegoods, tables, seating, and space division, and will highlight newly launching products being announced in coming months. Visitors will have a destination to experience design flexibility coupled with practicality, as well as a variety of tools that will make specification easier. This new space is positioned on the tenth floor among other long-term commercial design brands, including Turf, Andreu World, Global Furniture Group, Mannington Commercial, Krug, and Shaw Contract, among others.

Indiana Furniture’s products are manufactured in the USA, they consider the environment by using renewable and recyclable materials, allowing them to achieve indoor air and BIFMA level® certifications, meet or exceed the standards set forth by BIFMA Compliance®, giving you confidence in the construction and durability of the offerings, and 100% of their lines are available on GSA Contract.
