Marwin acquires HB&G Building Products to expand its product portfolio.

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Marwin Company has acquired HB&G Building Products Inc., further diversifying its product offering from the attic stairways and specialty door products for which it is known.

In addition to its Marwin products, the company also owns SS Industries, which manufactures spiral staircases, and Millwork 360 that produces interior and exterior doors and custom mouldings.

HB&G Building Products Inc. based in Troy, Alabama, is a manufacturer of specialty millwork products, including residential columns and other outdoor living products.

Matt Kaufman, the managing partner at Validor Capital, the private investment firm that provided liquidity to the Marwin Company, said, “HB&G expands our product offering and our channels to market, which should enhance the performance of all of the companies.”

Lance Servais, president of HB&G, added, “The Marwin Company’s focus on building products is in alignment with our goal to grow our participation in the market through investments in innovative building product solutions.”
