ELKHART, Ind. -- Patrick Industries Inc., No. 69 in the FDMC 300, highlights an improved safety record and other progresses in its newly released 2023 Sustainability & Responsibility Report.

The report notes that Patrick’s “integrated robust safety protocols” helped lead to a 36% reduction in Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), adding that 42% of the company’s business units achieved zero recordables in 2023. 

Patrick Industries is a manufacturer and supplier of wood, laminated, and other components for the RV, marine and housing market. The company employs approximately 10,000 people nationwide.

Other highlights of the 2023 report cited by the company include:

• Patrick's responsible use and management of materials and energy, including recycling, reclamation, and reuse, and highlights from business units dedicated to driving sustainability in their products and processes.
• Reinforced commitment to serve and uplift our communities while making a meaningful impact on thousands of lives through support and partnership with organizations such as Care Camps, LOGAN Community Resources, Habitat for Humanity, and many other national, state, and local programs.
• Increased investment in the professional and personal growth of team members, including more than 6,700 hours of leadership and development training.
• Achieved substantial progress in the company's digital transformation, integrating a range of advanced technologies that empower collaboration, connection, and efficient resource management.
