Artificial intelligence tools such as 2d and 3D modeling, image generation, and realistic visualization have already provided interior designers, design engineers, and industrial designers the opportunity to push the boundaries of design. Now, these and other tools are being joined by a tool described as the "world’s first AI interior designer."

HOMEE AI, an innovator of spatial computing technology, debuted the Furniture AI at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in Las Vegas. HOMEE AI said that the tool allows everyone to simply open the camera on their smartphone and use it to look around whatever room they wish to redesign. The A.I. scans the room in 3D, learning its dimensions and current layout and design. Users can then remove, rotate or shift around their own furniture simply by clicking on it, and the A.I. will generate a new image, keeping the room's measurements in mind.

The company said that Furniture AI's user-friendly 3D interface revolutionizes interior design through an intuitive, interactive, and visually rich platform that empowers users to actively create dream living spaces. Furniture AI accelerates the design process and stimulates larger orders through its intuitive interface and intelligent suggestions, acting as a catalyst for elevated sales in furniture retail.

The AI Designer feature brings AI to interior design through a user-friendly chat interface powered by advanced language models. It allows users to effortlessly communicate design preferences so it can automatically create stunning, personalized room designs by furnishing scanned spaces based on users' budgets.

The space reconstruction technology empowers users to reconstruct 3D models of a space. Users can seamlessly move, remove or inpaint existing objects to visualize and experiment with dynamic integrations of new furnishings and layouts.
