Steel City introduces its new 6-in. and 8-in. deluxe jointers with granite beds and fences. The jointers are machined flat and will not warp, Steel City says. A newly designed spiral insert cutterhead also was added. The new head features 4-sided carbide inserts that can be rotated to renew the cutting edge.

The 6-in. jointer offers a 36-in. infeed and a 30-in. outfeed table and comes with a 1-1/2-hp, single phase, 115/230V TEFC motor and paddle-type switch. The 8-in. jointer provides a 37-in. infeed and a 37-in. outfeed table and comes with a 2-hp, single-phase 230V TEFC motor with magnetic starter.
