Cabinet Vision software creates 3D designs that can be put into production in minutes.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - Planit Canada specializes in software to drive every aspect of the design to manufacture process and improve the efficiency of woodworking operations. At the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, Planit says it will demonstrate software products that “can make your business more awesome,” including solutions for ramping up production, automating processes, saving time and making more money.

Planit Canada’s full staff will be on hand at booth #1028 to answer technical questions. This includes Peter Mate, president; Christopher Manclière, senior software specialist; Chip Martin, Cabinet Vision product manager; Richard Chappell, Cabinet Vision director; plus sales representatives and technical support specialists.

Product demonstrations products will be conducted throughout all three days of WMS, including:

Cabinet Vision, the most widely-used software in the woodworking industry for the manufacture of closets, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and other millwork projects, allows 3D designs to be put into production in minutes. The Planit team will show new features in the latest version and answer questions about modules, cut lists, costing and bidding, and more.  Cabinet Vision’s Screen-to-Machine center generates codes for most CNC machines, eliminating the need to go through intermediaries and incurring additional costs and delays.

P lanit calls Vortek Spacesa revolutionary sales tool,” which allows for the use of virtual 3D technology to impress clients by quickly and easily customizing colours and materials on the fly and enabling them to sign their name on the dotted line more quickly. (Watch video.)

Leica Geosystems DISTO lasers provide detailed digital measurements in 3D to improve the measuring process of installation space, make templating simple, and increase the accuracy of a project. The Planit team will show how measurement data collected by the Leica lasers can be directly link to Cabinet Vision. (Watch video below.)

WEB-CAB is a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that will optimize a shop by allowing the user to track, document, and control its operations. Members of the Planit team will explain five-day implementation and fast ROI to more quickly join the Industry 4.0 revolution. (Watch video.)

To sum up its participation at WMS 2019, Planit says, “Our vision is to eliminate any task that is detrimental to creativity, productivity or profitability so that all Canadian woodworkers can get back to the business of making beautiful things, enjoying their lives, and loving their families. In short, we want our entire extended family to be awesome in every way.”
