Sames to display new spray guns and equipment at WMS 2023

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – Sames North America will showcase its new Xcite+ and Xcite+ Light manual spray guns, plus PRIMA pump packages at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo. The company, formerly known as Sames Kremlin and Sames Kremlin Intec, rebranded as Sames last October.

Each of the new spray guns include technical upgrades to the previously released Xcite guns to achieve a higher level of performance and finish quality.

The Xcite+ is visually the same gun as the Xcite with technical improvements including:

  • A diffuser and deflector that ensures a finer atomizing spraying quality.
  • New trigger design for more comfort and helps avoid finger pinching.
  • 240 bar spring instead of 200 bars for compliancy with 35C50 pumps and above.
  • New swivel.

The Xcite+ Light version incorporates the Xcite+ improvements listed above, as well as a fan adjustment valve and a female fluid inlet fitting to connect any fluid hose.

End-user benefits of the Xcite+ Light include:

  • Less operator fatigue due to the guns’ lightness.
  • Enhanced maneuverability due to flexible whip end hose directly connected to the gun inlet.
  • Energy savings created by the deflector that allows reduction of the atomizing air by 0.1 up to 1 bar || 1.5 up to 15 psi.

The PRIMA pump package features a PRIMA 01D100 pump, REGPro, 2-in-1 filter regulator, low pressure filter, mounting supports, air panels, and spray guns including the new FStart LVLP and FPro manual Airspray. The PRIMA 01D100 diaphragm pump can be used to feed spray systems for coating wood, metal, and plastic. This painting pump is compatible with solvent or water-based materials and also with electrostatic Airspray solutions.
