Martin’s Woodworking Machinery to display Northtech’s precision ripsaw at WPE

LANCASTER, PA -- Martin's Woodworking Machinery of Dundee, NY, will display the Northtech SLR-14SC straight line ripsaw at Wood Pro Expo Lancaster Oct. 17-18. The machine is capable of processing boards up to 18 in. wide into strips as thin as 3/16 in. thick. The SLR-14SC has a maximum depth of cut of 3-1/8 in. when using a 14-inch blade. Equipped with a 15-hp variable saw motor and a 1.5-hp feed motor, the ripsaw can operate at speeds ranging from 40 to 140 fpm.
