KCD Software set to demo design-to-manufacture products at Wood Pro Expo

LANCASTER, Pa. - KCD Software will run interactive demonstrations of its industry-specific design to manufacturing software throughout both days of Wood Pro Expo, Oct. 17-18 at Spooky Nook Sports complex. KCD Software said its demonstrations at WPE booth #308 will be "attendee-driven." Software experts will answer questions and show how KCD's cabinet/closet software works to meet individual shop requirements.

RT Machine will show how to produce spline-less joints at Wood Pro Expo

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Circle T LM 116 lock miter joint machine will be demonstrated by RT Machine Co. at Wood Pro Expo, Oct. 17-18, at the Spooky Nook Sports complex. RT Machine described the machine’s capability as a “beautiful and simple way to put wood together without biscuits or splines. The very strong joint has plenty of surface area yet no exposed edge that needs to be edgebanded or painted. It allows woodworkers to be creative when designing high-end cabinetry, posts and other products.”

LANCASTER, Pa. – Renowned wood expert, Dr. Eugene Wengert, will tackle some of the galling, costly and largely preventable issues related to moisture content (MC) in a presentation at Wood Pro Expo Lancaster. Wengert, an industry consultant and popular FDMC columnist known as the Wood Doctor, will present “The correct moisture content for kiln-dried lumber: establishing reasonable MC targets and measuring MC,” at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18 at the Spooky Nook Sports complex.
